CORKS RECYCLING CSR PROJECT
Cork Recycling Project
starts in 2018
Cork recycling boxes have been set up at offices in
Sapporo, Sendai, Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, Hiroshima and Fukuoka.
We also actively collect the corks of bottles that are supplied in the events.
Moët Hennessy Japan is recycling corks to achieve sustainable development / environment, one of the three areas of CSR activities.
Corks, one of the scare resources, are widely used in our champagne.
Instead of throwing them away, we convert them into recycled materials and products, such as cork sheets, blocks, interior panels, coasters, mats and stools, through processes of collecting, cleaning, sorting and crushing.
Cleaning and sorting are processed in disabled facilities to support the independence participation of the disabled.
